First off, as you have probably guessed, I have Tourette's Syndrome. I made this site to help others learn to live with Tourette's as I have. Secondly, I have an amazing boyfriend named Gage Silveira. Gage knows I have Tourette's and it doesn't matter to him because I am still me. He is extremely supportive and sypethetic for my needs. He is a great guy and I do love him. He goes to Hanford High (as do I)and is extremely smart. He's into computers, music, electronics, video games, and Martial Arts (as am I).
Okay, so let me give you a little backgound about myself. My name is Bailey Womack, I'm 15 years old, and I live in Hanford, CA. I have trained in Martial Arts for all of my life and I hold a Black-Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a Black-Belt in Tora Do Karate (just recently got my 2nd Degree), a Brown-Belt in Tae Soo Do, and I am currently working on my Third Degree Black-Belt in Tora Do Karate, and my Instructor Certification in Krav Maga. I have also trained in other Martial Arts and forms of fighting such as: Shao-Shu, Hwa Rang Do, Krav Maga, Jui-Jitsu, Chung Do Kwan, Boxing, Grappling, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), and just a little bit of Akido, Judo, and Sambo. My family owns the gym Valley Fight Club (www.valleyfightclub.com) and I teach Tora Do karate there during the week.
One of my other hobbies includes making music. I play the Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, and Piano, however, I am not very good. I find that playing a musical instrument relaxes me and calms my mind.
One of my favorite things to do is to write. I love to write. My inspiration for my writings are amazing novels that I greatly enjoyed reading such as: Gone With The Wind, The Grapes of Wrath, Little Women, Little Men, The Tale of Genji, The Art of War, Oliver Twist, Jane Eyre, and Frankenstein: Or, The Modern Prometheus. I also absolutely love the Alex Rider, Clive Cussler, and Tom Clancy series' of novels. I have written several books, screenplays, and poems that have yet to be published but I intend on doing so in the near future.
As I mentioned earlier, I have a wonderful boyfriend named Gage. Gage is truly great. He supports me with anything and everything that I do in life. He understands that I have a Neurological disorder, and it doesn't matter to him because he loves me for just the way I am. He's a great person to know. He's always got the best advice and is willing to listen to your needs. Lexi Shoop. Lexi is an awesome person. She's someone you do no, and I repeat, do not, want to mess with. She's actually part of my inspiration to overcome my medical condition. Lexi is a victim of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, (A form of Muscular Dystrophy) but she doesn't let that get in the way of living her life. Lex has overcome her medical condition and doesn't let anything get her down. Lex is an amazing writer and friend.
